Sisters we are so excited to have the opportunity to get together for Super Saturday!
It will be the most fun to craft, learn a new skill, make a new friend and catch up with your old friends too.  This is a great activity to invite someone to attend with you as well.  We have finally narrowed down all the exciting projects we researched to a few of our favorites.  We hope that you will love them, and love making them as much as we do.

Take a moment to view the project options below and decide which ones that you would like participate in. Then simply send an email to jessimae32@gmail.com with the projects you have chosen. Please type "Super Saturday" in the subject line!!

TIME LINES:

1. Signups and money for Vinyl projects will be due by Wednesday October 24 at 10:00pm.
2. Sign ups and money for all other projects will be due by Sunday October 28th at 10:00pm
3. Please give all payments for the projects you have chosen to Jessica English.
4. Please consider cash payments in a sealed envelope with your name on the outside.
5. Note:  Project supplies will not be ordered if payment is not received by due date

Project Descriptions

Paint Stick Ornaments

Price: Free (max 3)

Time: Approx. 20 min a piece

Please bring Scissors

This craft is made out of paint sticks!!! They are the cutest Christmas ornaments and great gifts for neighbors, visiting teachers, co-workers, babysitters etc. and look super sweet tied to the ribbon of a gift. While this craft will not have a charge we ask that you only make a maximum of three per person. Please still sign up for this craft so that we can have enough supplies ready for you.

 



The Living Christ Picture Matting

Price $12

Time: 1 Hour
Taught by: TBD

To do this craft,  there is a certain way or pattern that you cut and stick on the pictures to the matting. The $12 price includes the pictures, the matting, and the Living Christ sheet. You will be responsible for providing your own picture frame!
This picture mat measures for an 11X14 frame.

PLEASE BRING SCISSORS!!  

 

 

Hair Bows

Price:  Bring your own Ribbon and scissors; I will supply clips and wire

Time: 10 minutes per bow

Taught by: Jessica English

Learn to make simple hair bows for little girls. We will learn two different styles.  They are fun, easy and fast.  You will need to bring the following for EACH bow you would like to make:

1. 1 yard of 7/8in wide or larger ribbon for each bow you would like to make
2. 1/4 yard of 3/8in wide ribbon for each bow. (This small ribbon is to tie the center, and line the clip. This is the exact width you will need)
3. Scissors and glue gun if you have one. ( I will have a couple to share as well)

TIP: if you are new to working with ribbon the best type of ribbon to get is Grosgrain, it is easy to work with and super sturdy.

 

 

Christmas Star

Price: $5.00 per star

Time: Approximately 40-60 minutes

Please bring scissors!

All supplies needed are included with this kit. This project involves a little sanding as well as drying time for paint, glue and Modge Podge, so it takes a bit of time for each step.  BUT SO WORTH IT!!  We will have a variety of Christmas scrapbook paper for you to choose from to decorate your star.. but if you have something specific in mind please feel free to bring  it.  (we do not have the exact paper you see in the picture)

 

Wise Men Tile - 12X12

Price: $10.00 (tile and Vinyl)

Price: $8.00 (vinyl only)

Time: Approximately 15 minutes

This project includes the tile and vinyl.  The tile chosen is a simple ceramic tile in a beige color similar to the picture.  If you would like to bring your own tile, it’s no problem!!  Just indicate on your email sign up that you only want the vinyl.

 

Merry Christmas Tile 6X6

Price: $8.00 (tile and Vinyl)

Price: $7.00 (Vinyl only)

Time: Approximately 15 minutes

This project includes the tile and vinyl.  The tile chosen is a simple white ceramic tile similar to the picture.  If you would like to bring your own tile, it’s no problem!!  Just indicate on your email sign up that you only want the vinyl.

 

 

Snow Flake Magnets (set of 6)

Price:

·         1x1in squares: $4.00

·         2X2in Squares: TBD - we are still looking to find 2x 2 colored tiles, check back for updates

This project is a set of 6 snowflake magnets.  Each snowflake is different. The kit includes the tiles, vinyl, and magnets to complete.  Please indicate the size magnets you would like to make.

 

Christmas Lanterns

Price: $5.50

Time: approximately 45 minutes

Taught by: Tracy Chambers

This project kit includes the jar, vinyl, wire, glass frosting, ribbon and a bell. You can do so many things with this cute lantern.  You can add a tea light or candle to the jar and illuminate or It can be filled with goodies for a gift. Please indicate which vinyl design you would like for your lantern when you sign up.

 

 

The Thirteen Articles of Faith

Price: $1.50

GREAT STOCKING STUFFER!!

This project includes 14 - 4x6 size full color and designed prints of the articles of faith including a cover page. These are for your convenience to order at a good price. You can add them to a cute photo album, or punch holes in a corner and put them on a ring. Just Be Creative!!  If you want to work on this at Super Saturday, bring the supplies you will need and we will have the prints for you!

FINISH IT!

There will be a special table set up for anyone who would like to FINISH a project that you are already working on from home.  Simply bring what you need for the project and work on it while you enjoy time with “the girls”!!
